With the decoupling of government run associations and chambers of Commerce from the government, the associations and chambers of Commerce will bear more social responsibilities independently and face more practical problems of self survival, self-development and self-restraint. How to keep pace with the times, transformation and upgrading has become an urgent issue for each association and chamber of Commerce.
In order to help the associations and chambers of Commerce to realize transformation and upgrading smoothly, the 19th public welfare Seminar on transformation and upgrading of associations and chambers of Commerce was held in Beijing Convention Center on March 5, 2017. The executive chairman and Secretary General of Shaanxi new Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association were invited to attend.
Jia Xijin, vice president of charity Research Institute of Tsinghua University, deputy director and associate professor of NGO Research Institute of School of public administration of Tsinghua University; Zhang Jing, a specially invited researcher of China Economic System Reform Research Association and former director of market regulation department of State Administration of industry and commerce, attended the meeting and made special reports. The content of the report was highly pragmatic, which aroused strong resonance among the leaders of the associations and chambers of Commerce.
The seminar also arranged the agenda of successful cases on-site experience, cooperation negotiation, exchange and discussion, and representative sharing, which pointed out the work direction for the transformation and upgrading of the majority of associations and chambers of Commerce, and provided investment and cooperation opportunities for entrepreneurs of business associations. The meeting was a complete success.
