Zahariyev said that China's philosophy, China's proposition and China's wisdom are continuously injecting confidence and power into global development, and China's plan makes it possible to solve more global problems. Bulgaria is an important node of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" in the Balkans, and also the leader of the China CEEC Agricultural Cooperation Demonstration Zone and the China CEEC Global Partnership Center. In 2017, Zahariev initiated the establishment of the Bulgarian "the Belt and Road" National Federation. "The establishment of the Federation has aroused great interest from all walks of life. The economic and trade cooperation and people to people and cultural exchanges between China and Bulgaria have become increasingly close, and more and more Bulgarian yogurt, wine, rose products and other special products have entered the homes of Chinese people. According to the data, in 2021, the bilateral trade between China and Bulgaria overcame the impact of the epidemic and grew strongly by 40.8% against the trend, reaching a record high of US $4.109 billion. The successful operation of Luban Workshop of Provdiv Agricultural University has also continuously trained vocational and technical talents for Bulgaria.
